Beauty is not one size fits all. In the beauty department, women develop their own sense of what works for them and what does not. We all have different hair colors, body types and ethnic backgrounds. Regardless of our physical differences, if we look our best, we feel our best. I personally drift from bohemian chic to classic to casual, depending on the day. Sometimes I mix and match. Don’t be afraid to try what works for you. Being authentic is about being able to laugh at yourself, having fun and inspiring people. Accept your eccentricities, and make no apologies. Not sure where your style fits in? Thumb through beauty and style magazines and see what speaks to you the most- there’s your answer.
Never over-pay. Never over-do.
Find the colors, styles and brands that work for you. Too much makeup, garish colors and teased hair doesn’t look classy on any woman. Neither does letting yourself go. Maxing out credit cards is another no-no. We want to get the most out of life and also the most out of our money. It’s not about how much you spend to look beautiful, but how smart you are spending it.
